Dare I ask what VBW is?
I hate voting in NI because it makes no difference to the UK at all!
Yes, I will vote for my usual party.

I googled VBQ and could only find vegan barbecue. Must be something else.
Vichy British Quislings.

It's quite the thing these days, doncha know. :-)
Never vote for a party in local elections, I vote for the person who is best for my locality.
Our council has only 2 candidates both Lib Dem and they need 2 people for the council so we have been told that htey have been elected already.
Question Author
what council is that shedman?
No elections here tomorrow.
But I would vote very firmly Lib Dem as the Stop Brexit party on May 23
Hi Rockrose
I find it staggering that Diane Dodds and Michelle O’Neill are STILL favourites on May 23 in spite of the way their parties are failing NI
Tomorrow’s elections are in (some parts of) England only.
Question Author
when are they going to drop the word "democrat" from their party title ich? Clearly that's now a misleading name? Bit like "changeUK".
Put another record on Tora :-)
I vote for the candidate that will ignore the madness that is major party politics and vote for the person that seems to understand the needs of the local people....and have suggestions on how to improve their lot.
Tomorrow are the council elections though, so do need to becareful not to bite your nose off to spite your face. Many Councillors have expressed displeasure over Treason and it was too late for Parites such as TIG and TBP to field candidates.

Difficult for me as there is only one non mainstream independent (My ward has been changed due to the formation of BCP) and a green. And I am not voting green!
Whilst I won't be voting for my usual party in the EU and General Elections, I will be voting for them in my local elections.

The 3 main parties have a strong enough voice on local issues to make a difference, whereas minority parties do not.
I agree TTT, Democrats they are not, although looking at the US Democrats perhaps the word no longer means what it used to?
Question Author
ich;"Put another record on Tora :-) " - are you not disturbed that they call themselves democrats yet their flagship policy is to "stop brexit" - the result of a pure binary choice by the people? ie ignore the outcome?
No.
What is undemocratic about taking a firm view on something and putting it up at election.
Democracy did not end at a flawed referendum.
The Conservative party, The Labour Party, the Limp Dems, are all about self interest, anti-democracy, and corruption. So NO.
Question Author
ich, so they only want democracy when they agree with the outcome, right oh!
"Democracy did not end at a flawed referendum."

That of course would not have been flawed had the "correct answer" been given eh?
TTT, nail, hammer, head.
