Interesting that on LBC radio early today, a female 'migrant charity worker' said that the Government should set up an immigration centre in Calais, so that it would be safer for these migrants to apply for UK asylumn and if granted they should be given a free ferry ticket so that they could join their UK communities already here in the UK.

No, because some of the boats could have capsized while they were being towed, and you know it is our duty to rescue them and bring them to safety, so that they can be medically examined and later safely housed.
