You're arguing that all cultures are willing to bend spath, therefore I can only assume you know all about it - so no guessing required.
If you're a multiculturalist then if culture A is against rape and culture B is for rape then that's a super harmonious society. Innit, sozza as Peter Pedant might say.

Can we agree that the multicultural model in this specific case may present some problems to girls who are part of culture A given the behavioral latitude given to males in culture B.
My argument is that multi culture isn't a bad thing, and all people need to do is accept each other, from all sides of all cultures. My point is also, the UK hasn't been only British people (whoever they are) for a long, long time.
And the answer is? ...That the unemployed gardener doesn't understand the question.
you're implying there is a culture that endorses rape. I don't think that's true. I think some people from some cultures may try to endorse rape, but that just makes them rapists.

Are you saying there are no British rapists?

Did you not get my point about Japan?

Rapists are rapists.. They deserve life in prison.
V_E just say what culture you're talking about, because it's not for me to say. Cmon, spit it out, what's ur problem with saying the culture?
It's pathetic, isn't it. Is raping a nine year old girl right (culture B), or wrong (culture A)?

Seek a compromise on this issue and present your case.
you honestly have no clue what you're talking about, and it's painful, especially as you're trying to imply that i'm the ignorant one here.
VE without saying the culture you're referring to, you're just spouting nonsense that no one can relate to anyone.
Poor old Spath.

Different question: do you believe in suttee?

You won't have heard of it, but it's a cultural tradition of the Hindus. Check Wiki. It may be called Sati.

That's your starter for ten.

More difficult bonus is: how do you reconcile a Hindu culture which endorses suttee with an Englisdh culture which forbids murder?

I know this is a complicated question, Spath. Would you care to go away and think about?
You're talking about an obsolete custom.

If a wife wishes to take her own life after her husbands death then that is very sad indeed, and completely her personal choice.
//If a wife wishes to take her own life after her husbands death then that is very sad indeed, and completely her personal choice//

Like a woman "choosing" to wear the niqab or the burqa.

Completely her personal choice.

"I will erect a gallows alongside your funeral pyre, and when you have observed your cultural traditional by burning the widow, I will observe my cultural tradition by hanging men who murder women."
I feel this discussion is futile. All the best with it.
Come round and sort my garden out, Spath. I'm sure your gardening skills outweigh the talk about culture ones.

I will pay you well.
You can't talk with someone who talks at you, V_E.
Spath

/// Do you have any kids that go to school? Or grand kids? Ask them how many people in their class are from different descent. You may be suprised (or not) to find it will be a good 40-50%. ///

now we know why they voted labour again...
Indeed, aog - as far back as 2013, there was a primary school in Peterborough where no pupil had English as a first language:

..and I'd like to dedicate this next one to the mayor of London;
