//It doesn't mean that he's not a prize pillock and aggressive with it....// TR will always remain a highly divisive character. He undoubtedly has a certain following who see him as a heroic warrior and are full of admiration for his stance on Islamic issues among other things. However, the majority of people have not fallen for his rabble rousing ways. Who...

How weary stale, flat and unprofitable seem to me all the uses of this world.

I'm sorry that your nose has been pushed so far out of joint but I was out of the house at the time your post was made and removed.
The rest of your bizarre post I can only assume was made in a snit because someone had the temerity to deprive AB of your pearls of wisdom.

I am jackthethat/she/her......which everyone (including you) knows full-well.

Stop sulking and join the discussion like a grown-up.
//will he face trial over this assault? //

wouldn't that be a matter for the Portuguese authorities?
andy-hughes

Are you saying that we should not hate such terrorists groups then Andy?

What is your suggestion when their members inflict harm on us, take them to our bosoms and hug them over a cup of tea?

Much better to hate the likes of Tommy Robinson hey Andy?
Surely any further action would depend on whether the complainant makes a formal complaint.

Not defending Y-L but he may use provocation in mitigation? Something appears to have been said.Quite what I've no idea.

AOG - By all means find a headline more to your own liking upon which to set off your regular hobby-horse.

*This* particular thread is to do with Yaxley-Lennon thumping a chap to the ground....
//I'm sorry that your nose has been pushed so far out of joint..//

Nose not disjointed, but still able to smell, Jack/she/her. I'd like to have the wit to do a Rowan Atkinson thing about burning Tuareg carpets, but can't.

More prosaically I observe the tribalistic laager mentality of AB moderation.

You do get my point, don't you, Jack/she/her?

AOG - // Are you saying that we should not hate such terrorists groups then Andy? //

Yes, that's exactly what I am saying - I won't drop to their level of mindlessness, and that is what hatred is, whoever is nursing it. Its counterproductive, and helps no-one.

// What is your suggestion when their members inflict harm on us, take them to our bosoms and hug them over a cup of tea? //

Your sarcastic nonsense does you no credit - and you know as well as I that reactions to anything and anyone do not have to be either end of an extreme in order to be valid.

// Much better to hate the likes of Tommy Robinson hey Andy? //

Speak for yourself. I despise 'Tommy Robinson' for the violent thug that he is, but I don't hate him because I don't do hatred, it's destructive.

Then perhaps you should have chosen a different link than the Daily Mail one, that might not mention other Tommy Robinson's so called crimes.

Sorry if I diverted away from your usual hobby horse.

Hope our resident post remover, doesn't remove my post for you.
vetuste - // More prosaically I observe the tribalistic laager mentality of AB moderation. //

If you think you have been treated unfairly by a Moderator, raise it with the Editorial team, don't bandy nasty false assumptions that anyone on here is 'protected'.
Question Author
I understand that the --answer removed-- was something to do with a previous incarnation of yours being on the end of some 'spiteful malice' from me?

Don't you think you'd feel better if you let it go?
AOG - // Hope our resident post remover, doesn't remove my post for you. //

There are no 'resident post removers', let's stick to the debate and stop sniping shall we.
Question Author
AOG - That justification fron Y-L is towards the bottom of the article.

Have you really nothing to say about any of the foregoing?
Thuggish behaviour. How long before this thread is overtaken by the muslim haters ( which is totally irrelevant to the OP . ?
andy-hughes

/// Speak for yourself. I despise 'Tommy Robinson' for the violent thug that he is, but I don't hate him because I don't do hatred, it's destructive. ///

Okay, let us say you and I despise the ISIS.

Much better definition to hating them don't you think?
DESPISE:
/// to feel a strong dislike for someone or something because you think that that person or thing is bad or has no value: ///

HATE:
/// to have a strong aversion to : find very distasteful ///

I wonder if Tommy would have still been banned, if he had waved a flag reading We 'f****** despise ISIS' ?

Question Author
Holding that flag in one hand whilst he thumped a fellow football-supporter with the other, AOG?

I take it you have nothing to say about the incident at the football match?
anneasquith

/// Thuggish behaviour. How long before this thread is overtaken by the muslim haters ( which is totally irrelevant to the OP . ? ///

Oh I thought this thread was about Tommy Robinson, and isn't his main crime campaigning against the rise of militant Islam to this country, which is wrongly classed a Muslim hater, by the Muslim 'lovers'.
Question Author
No, AOG.
*This* thread is about Yaxley-Lennon assaulting someone.....again.

I know that you'd prefer it not to be but you'll just have to 'suck it up', I'm afraid....
No. His main crime is being a far right bully boy who has no respect for the law.
As none of us were there to witness or hear what was done or said I think it is wiser to comment if Tommy Robinson faces Portugese due process
From what I can see from that indistinct video clip it seems to be an unknown male running to keep up with Robinson whilst he is purposefully walking straight ahead. I would certainly not say this was an unprovoked attack by Tommy Robinson.Words were probably exchanged and I don't believe for one moment that even Mr Robinson would lash out at any passing person for no reason without some level of provocation. Some people,it would appear, have shorter fuses than others.
I doubt it would even go to a Portugese court so I doubt we will learn the facts except ,maybe, one side of the story.
