Hurrah so pleased for her, the right decision
That is very good news. Thanks Alba.

How many men have been jailed Spicerack for murdering their abusive partners?

good for her..
...and she says she will always love him...
says it all really
It does, Woofy. So sad, really.

I'm glad she's home. I hope she copes with the new found freedom.
Charge reduced to manslaughter and timed served, so she's now free. Seems reasonable to me

Anything less than this, given she did cave his head in with a hammer with many many blows and, if my understanding is correct, it wasn't spontaneous, would have been lenient irrespective of what she very clearly endured.
To carry a hammer in her handbag and then go on to smash in her husband's head no matter of what she accused him of, doesn't seem like manslaughter to me, but premeditated murder.
Well she has done nine years already. Like most third world countries life has become cheap in the UK so nine years for murder is about par for the course nowadays. :-(
Back in the day she would have swung.
^ she did ,with a hammer. :-(

Lol.
