Tory Internal Inquiry?
21 Answers
Just for Tora Tora Tora, really…
After a recent call by the MCB (Muslim Council of Britain) for an inquiry into Tory anti-islamic views, you may recall that you asked me to inform you if the Tories ever faced an external inquiry into those. I still will. However, a clear opportunity - nay, duty - has now arisen for the Tories themselves to instigate an internal inquiry!
If you watched Tuesday’s debate among the five Tory hopefuls as leader/PM, you may have noticed that Sajid Javid got a pledge from the other four to OPEN just such an inquiry! I trust, therefore, that you’ll keep your own eye on the action to that end taken by whoever actually does become PM.

A bit more difficult, of course, but not deserving of special sanctification!
You say, "I most certainly 'hate' Islam."
That simply reveals a lack of grasp of what Islam means to vast multitudes of peace-loving, ordinary people worldwide. For them, it is a belief-system that has nothing whatsoever to do with a concept of ‘supremacy’ or approval of terrorist means of supporting it.
I doubt whether the average Christian in mediaeval Spain even knew of the existence of the Inquisition and the average Muslim today is probably equally innocent of supporting the lunatic fringe of Islam which embraces terrorism.
I’m an atheist and consider all religions to be pie-in-the-sky nonsense, but I fully accept that the vast bulk of their followers are genuine in their beliefs. I don’t “hate” any of them!
