I have a great deal of respect for Harry re his army tours but I do feel miffed about the situation that is currently being reported. Won’t lose any sleep over it but it does seem a tad off to use the money from taxes and then keep details closely guarded.
More upset about the seeming rift between Harry and William.

Apparently all royal Christenings are private affairs but members of the public may watch the comings and goings of the guests, with the media also in attendance. This time - zilch.

Yes very much so.It is amazing how one sees the same old regular faces turn up at venues all over the UK.They are / were mainly elderly women who spent hundreds travelling to venues of their favourite Royals venues for the day.Some would call these devoted ‘Royal Watchers’ cranks but they were quite harmless and devoted fans. They knew Court Etiquette and procedure better than most and noticed any irregularity in normal procedure with disdain especially if ,say, a well worn path was re-routed inside Windsor Castle during the Garter Ceremony.I witnessed the very quick fall from grace of Sarah Ferguson.
I note yet another member of staff has left the employ of the Sussex’s new household and I believe the changes these young Royals hope to achieve will not go down well in Royal and Public circles. Some traditions within should not be tampered with lest it end in tears.

No I am not upset at the cost of the renovations - a similar amount was given to W&K.
No I am not upset at seeing the christening.
I am upset at the constant abuse this lady gets aimed at her on a daily basis.

It doesn't bother me because I'm not particularly interested in this particular event. As long as they carry out their official duties I'm happy for taxpayer's money to be spent on them.

What are these antics you refer to sqad? I don't understand all the fuss and griping about these two, and Meghan in particular.
