I don't believe they would be easier at all. I think it would disrupt Brexit as well as adding an unnecessary complication at this stage. I also believe it would do our credibility on the world stage further harm, not to mention giving Corbyn a slight chance of power.

I think that Boris will call General Election if he succeeds in his Brexit plans.

Johnson has no obligation to call a General Election. Previously, Major, Browne and May became Prime Minister without winning general elections.
It would be very unwise to call an election now.

Surely the choice could be BJ's as much as anyone's. Three line whip to the Tory party, and an earnest request to the DUP to call a vote of no confidence. Then leave it to remainer MPs for a large majority in favour.

Labour are waiting until Sept to call a vote of no confidence in Boris. They are waiting to the Ts to be crossed and the Is dotted to make sure the Tory MPs who have verbally said they will join them in a vonc to put it in writing.

Even his own MPs are plotting with their political enemies to stop Brexit.

One thing about PMQ's today was Corbyn implying that BJ wasn't democratically elected, which is rather odd when you think about Gordon Brown becoming PM. Or Jim Callaghan. Or John Major after Maggie.

A fatuous statement by a man of low intelligence. Johnson was democratically elected by his Conservative party, a tortuous procedure we have all been watching for the last few weeks.

Boris has schemed to be Prime Minister for decades, why would he risk being the shortest serving by calling an unnecessary election now-
Even if he does manage to deliver Brexit, it would not endear him with the half of the population who wanted to remain.
He should and will sit tight for as long as possible.
