Boris Johnson has set up a “war cabinet” to deliver Brexit “by any means necessary” by October 31 as a senior cabinet minister warned that there was “now a very real prospect” of no deal.
Nice turn around, up to now the HOQ as tried to thwart democracy by any means necessary. Will the EUSSR now accept we are prepared to leave with no deal? Will they let that happen?

The name calling and insults don't count 3T when they emanate from the "correct" source. The insults and name calling that started within hours of the Referendum result, and in some cases, during the preliminary "exchange of views". Remember some think freedom of speech is only an acceptable concept when they are doing the talking. The days are long gone when we who listened aghast at some of the nonsense incubated in scatter brains just used to tap our temples and wind our fingers at the side of our heads, thinking that they would soon realise what garbage they were promoting. No chance, they just got louder and even more brazen. Now we have decided to answer back and fight fire with fire, they have decided it is not fair anymore.

I used to associate the use of traitor, collaborator, Quisling etc with the more rabble-rousing on the debating front. You know, those who might know whereto go for a good night out with other DM wearing skinheads, pogo-ing and shouting OI! to hate filled songs while tossing Nazi salutes about the place.

I wonder if those behaviours have been co-opted or if it's just that nobody cares about being out there these days.

Freedom of speech means that the government has no right to arrest you merely for what you say. It doesn't protect you from rules that apply on internet forums, and it doesn't mean that anyone has to listen to you either.
