Should Mr Watson Face A Full Independant Investigation?
26 Answers
And what about plod? They seem to be getting away scot free despite one of hte worst investigation ever.
IMHO, I think Watson and top plod on this case should face the music and if guilty plod at very least should be fired. Watson of course will have to answer to the electorate in 2020.

As far as I’m aware, Tom Watson didn’t give evidence. How could he when everything he claimed was heresay and came from a third party?
I have no idea if he made signed statements to the police, but there is no doubt that he played a big part in fuelling this fantasist fire.

//Doing an act tending and intending to pervert the course of public justice is an offence under the common law of England and Wales. Perverting the course of justice can be any of three acts: Fabricating or disposing of evidence. Intimidating or threatening a witness or juror. Intimidating or threatening a judge.//
Note the bit about fabricating evidence...that includes lying through your teeth. No mention of a signature being required. If you bothered to read up the offence you may also spot a reference to...... "Interfering with the administration of justice." Send the creep down. Belmarsh will soon have a place vacant.
