IMHO, I think Watson and top plod on this case should face the music and if guilty plod at very least should be fired. Watson of course will have to answer to the electorate in 2020.

I was considering NJ's claim Watson could face a charge of perjury. Unless he gave evidence in court or made a statement to the police he knew to be false, I cannot see how he would.

As far as I’m aware, Tom Watson didn’t give evidence. How could he when everything he claimed was heresay and came from a third party?

Note the bit about fabricating evidence...that includes lying through your teeth. No mention of a signature being required.
