I just checked on my saucepans and they are fine....stacked in the saucepan cupboard where I left them.
I don't believe those stats to be honest. 83%? You're having a giraffe.
Neither do I. But 1000 asked. Not sure where they found them :-)

woofgang: did you leave yer loaf in the old mother too?
Two young lads were playing in the living room.

Their mum says to them "would you like to go outside? It's a lovely day."

"YES!" the boys respond.

As she goes over to the french doors which open onto the patio she notices a condom outside.

Not wanting the children to touch it, she tells them "You'lll have to wait a moment, for some strange reason there is a condom on the patio".

Both of the children look bewildered.. They exclaim "What's a patio?" .
Nice one Spath :-)

Well would you adam and eve it, dodgy stats !
Too much of what is called 'education' is little more than an expensive isolation from reality.

Thomas Sowell.
Even better.

The problem isn't that Johnny can't read. The problem isn't even that Johnny can't think. The problem is that Johnny doesn't know what thinking is; he confuses it with feeling.

TTT you did your best I'm sure, sorry your children didn't absorb the information.
Haha Can't identify a conker or a bumblebee...…...Perhaps they are too busy saving the planet 3T, to bother their tired heads with such irrelevant detail. :))
Stats may be wrong, but there is a problem with Kids awareness of some of life's natural occurrences.
I think too, certain areas don't concentrate on certain aspects of nature etc.
Also text speak is getting to be a problem.
It's not helping children learn to spell correctly.
Blame the parents!
Isn't bumblebee a transformer, I've no idea what a sauscepan turns into though :-)

Walking through a forest last Saturday I saw the biggest bee I've ever seen in my life, it just flew over my shoulder and past my face, I wouldn't identify it as a Bumble more like a Queen.
When I was a child I could identify most trees and their leaves, most birds, most fish etc that inhabited our brooks and streams, and most insects.
So could I mostly... Conkers though! omg health and safety world, you' have to be dressed like the Michelin man these days... with high viz and goggles.
children stuck in front of game consoles, or on social media...
also parents not taking them out to parks, and pointing out the fascinating aspects of nature, or sadly children have no interest in nature because they are not allowed out, like they used to be..sadly
when i was a lad, there was not enough time in the day, i was out all day.. bicycling fishing climbing trees, digging holes looking for buried treasure.. the wonder of it.
Some kids are not lucky enough to live near brooks and streams.
I agree ummm, but when I look after my nieces and take them to a park etc... their curiosity amazes me, how intrigued they are.
Fender, if you found it on Oak Island... it belongs to me.
