Pleased that the caring UK have now nursed this boy back to full health, but after all he is still an illegal immigrant, and as such should he now be deported back to Vietnam?

Was there an excess baggage charge? Surely you couldn't survive the handling a suitcase gets, the lack of air, the cold and pressure in the cabin- and what about security checks on the contents?

The foster parent said "They are so important in a search like this. The boy's family have been bringing us food and drinks." Does this mean that the boy's family is already in the UK? If that is the case, why is he with foster-parents? If the parents are here are they here legally? It's a really, really strange situation.
He should be in order to deter others, and because he didn't have permission to come in the first place. I can see why folk think compassion after his ordeal is in order, but it is a risky course of action to allow now, since it shows folk, or at least minors, are allowed to stay if they sneak in and suffer. Feel good like you're doing the good thing now, cope with a larger problem in the future.

I think you will find that FF was referring to the air trip from Vietnam, unless you are suggesting that the smuggler brought him all the way from Vietnam in his car?
