I my day (the days before pills of contraception, benefits, food banks and free meals)we didn't go in for children before we had a roof over our heads and could also afford to keep them.

Now we hear of parents unable to feed their children while they are on holiday and therefore not available for free meals.

What must be addressed is why they continue to have children when they can't house them or even feed them?

And of course Mass Immigration is never highlighted as a reason for lack of housing, is it?

Fander, I agree about the anomaly with whose names are on the tenancy agreement of any rented property - sadly we don't think about it until something major happens.

You need a national insurance number to claim benefits. If someone has a national insurance number, they have every right to benefits.

A friend of mine with duel nationality at birth came to UK from america recently. He had to actually go to London in person to get a NI number, so he could get a passport, so he could get a job.

Yes, a UK passport. Due to dual nationality he had an american passport but not the UK one.

Fender, to me personally you seem confused on how the British benefits system works.

If the UK authorities become aware of a child, who has an illegal parent, they don't then just make the parent legal and start feeding them with money and continuing to support the child.

Illegal immigrants may be charged for any nhs treatments. They may also be arrested and deported.

The general consensus from UK nationals on what illegal immigrants get when they arrive here is massively wrong.
