And yet I read the gay guy never went to court to support Ben Stokes. Do we know why?

I don't think he was needed, ladybirder, since Stokes was acquitted anyway. Presumably the prosecution case just wasn't good enough.

I remember seeing a video at the time and if I remember it didn’t do stokes any favours,he was seen punching a man on the ground.

Thank you jno. But he didn't know Ben was going to be acquitted. I now remember I read that the guy didn't want to come "out" so didn't or wouldn't attend. No idea if that's true and perhaps he wasn't even asked.
No matter as it's all over now but I was curious.
