He won $750,000 on the lottery but blew it on himself filing for bankruptcy.
His relationship was never very good, and she took exception to her father doing paid interviews and cashing in on her fame. The Daily Mail have lined his pockets many times, and I imagine he took money for this latest sob story. The final straw was him posing for paparazzi photographers. Harry blames paparazzi for the death of his mother, so the fathers stunt didn’t impress him.
He sounds pretty embarrassing and pathetic, so she is probably right to have nothing to do with him.

I have no idea why some are constantly maligning this woman....the mail seems particularly keen to whip up unpleasantness and stir the pot up...I don't know how this man treated her or her mother and it is nice to see that she is keeping her reasons close to her...but I can think of loads of reasons why one would close the door on ones parents and why that door would be kept closed.....the sister is a bit of a stirrer too....Oh sudden thought...the father and sister wouldn't be getting paid for all this bile they are letting loose would they??
Many people do the same thing for their own very good reasons. None of them have to explain or justify those reasons to the OP or to anyone. What makes the situation of the Duchess of Sussex any different? In my own family which had its own issues, we had an agreement that certain relatives would be invited to weddings (hoping they wouldn't come) and then nothing more. The "invite to wedding thing" was out of love and respect for the older generation of our family who would have been devastated by a complete breach.
I don't like what I see and hear of Meghan and that has nothing to do with the colour of her skin. It's partly based on her cutting her Dad dead. She and Harry (who should certainly have known better) could have avoided all this, by either getting advisors to help Mr Markle or by properly welcoming him into the fold. Only looks to me like her new-found status is more important to her than anything. I'd say the Dad is better off without her in this case. She seems a nightmare, and soon enough weak Harry will feel he full force of that. Hell will have no fury like Meghan scorned. Mark my words. And if she then tries to make up with her Dad, I hope he slams the door in her fake Disney face
