/// London Mayor Sadiq Khan has reignited his long-running feud with President Donald Trump and mocked him for playing golf as Hurricane Dorian moves dangerously close to the United States. ///
Does this idiot expect Trump to sit in a Canute fashion at the waters edge, demanding Hurricane Dorian to go away from the United States?
Perhaps this so called 'Mayor of London' should be addressing the huge numbers of murders taking place in his own city.

I recall a certain POTUS was strongly criticised for not visiting but just flying AirForce 1 over a totally flooded state when the levees were broached. That was G.Bush jnr. Why should president Trump take a powder like Bush did and court censure from his own fellow Americans.

jim; //And besides, it *is* a valid criticism that Trump has played golf on something like 150 occasions as President. Even if he's receiving advice during golfing hours it's not exactly focusing properly on the job is it? //
Donald Trump sleeps only about 3 hours a night, the rest of the time he is working. He doesn't drink alcohol, doesn't even drink coffee, has enabled hundreds of thousands of people to get back to work & has turned the US economy around.
I read his handicap is somewhere around 3 so he's almost at pro. standard.
He deserves a little time playing golf, something he loves & is good at, don't you think?
Give the guy a break.

Khandro -- I probably wouldn't have picked up on the golf thing, but for the fact that it was one of Trump's excuses to criticise Obama (see, eg, the three tweets I mentioned -- I'm also fairly sure that Trump said that he wouldn't have time to play it at all as President during the campaign). So it's the rank hypocrisy that I'm really focusing on. If he'd not focused on the subject so much then neither would I.
As to the general decision to stay in the US rather than go to Poland, I'm on record as saying that I thought it was the right thing for him to do.

An handicap of 3. Wow. If he keeps that up, he'll soon be able to reach the standard set by another fantasist. Kim Jong-il scored a quite impressive 34 (yep, 34) on a 7,700 yard 18 hole golf course in Pyongyang in Oct '94. Mind you, he needed no less than FIVE holes in one to keep that score down:-/

That’s quite pathetic actually. Don’t you ever wonder who’s keeping tally and publishing this information – and why? Moreover, why some are so keen to collect it? A strange hobby.

Wonder which club the Donald would draw to hit the bus operator's son with? A driver?//
Possibly a sand wedge Togo. Khan and his two buddies here seem like a picnic short of a few. He is a great London Mayor remembered for removing Jaeger and Triumph posters off the walls of the underground escalators and insulting POTUS and Her Majesty the Queen as well as embarrassing those who recognise shame in this country.
For info of Spath and Gulliver. Jaeger and Triumph were underwear ads not motor vehicles.
