Why Is Boris John On A General Election Tour ?
Boris’ General Election was cancelled on Tuesday.
Why is he still touring the realm handing out dosh from the Magic Money tree?
Yesterday he was in Yorkshire. It didn’t go well. A man asked him “Why aren’t you in Brussels negotiating, instead of wasting your time in Morley ? It’ a good question.
Today the Boris Battle Bus is in Aberdeen. He wasn’t met by the Conservative Scottish leader (because she resigned). It wasn’t long before his first gaffe. He started bidding on a box of Cod, but had no idea what was a good price to pay, so he won the auction by overpaying for it. Maybe it is a good thing he is hanging around a fish market than negotiating in Brussels .

The Opposition Parties have just confirmed that they intent to again vote against a General Election until after Brexit. Which is either the end of October or the end of January.
Boris will still bring a Bill on Monday even though the result is a foregone conclusion. But it wastes even more precious time.

One would hope that the Chief Constable is seen as fairly impartial, and he's clearly not impressed, so hopefully that settles the issue.
No harm in Johnson giving a speech about recruitment of police officers*, but turning it into an election campaign speech does a disservice to the police he was claiming to praise.
*to replace all the ones the Tories got rid of.

As a humble artisan, I need a better understanding of the present situation.
As I see it, the current thrust calls for voting against a “no deal”
This is surely a double negative. Encouragement to vote NO to a NO. Applying Boolean Logic, this implies a NOT NOT decision, Which would return a positive.
So, the positive result would be defined as voting for a deal.
However, those people advocating a NOT NOT are the very ones wanting to REMAIN, which , by definition, requires no deal at all.
So this leaves us with a Boolean NOT NOT NOT, which returns a negative.
So glad I cleared that one up.

I don't know if this has been mentioned elsewhere but Sky News got hold of an un-redacted version of one of the documents released yesterday.
The redacted version of the PM's handwritten note started, "The whole September session is a rigmarole introduced xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and show the public that MPs are earning their crust."
The un-redacted version shows the "xxx..." said, "by girly swot Cameron."
