You're not in your Islington coffee shop now sweetheart, the gloves are off.
Nobody can "incite" another adult to be violent. Entirely their choice and responsibility.
Clearly, there are going to be unprecedented numbers of angry people, in this case, but that is still no excuse.
Shades of the miners strike of 1984 where Thatchers Britain pitted father against son etc, and divided families , even to this day there’s divisions and Brexit is doing the same , dividing people
I share Cummings' opinion … "What did they (the ones who are trying to block Brexit) expect?" I've been saying for ages now that unless politicians are very careful they risk an actual civil war - we are perilously close to it. Democracy depends on the acceptance of defeat by the losing side. Without that the power of the vote loses all validity and anything, including violent reaction can happen. I've always assumed that Remainers had enough sense to understand this, but what I've read in various places has thoroughly dismayed me. They don't. They are bringing chaos to this land and then will wring their hands and wonder 'Why?'
Re the reply from ttt. That just about sums up the politics of Britain today .
This has gone beyond a joke now.
Just play the footage of Paula Sherriff and Barry Sheerman and tell people that is NOT how to act.
It’s not the words being used, it’s the way they are being said, but if Amber Rudd thinks they will incite violence, then she must have led a very sheltered life.
Get a grip Ms. Rudd. You chose to step down, so stop talking drivel to reporters to try and keep your name in the headlines.

It’s not speaking a few words that are peeing people off, it’s a lack of action.

Maybe they shouldn't, but people can be incited to violence:

it's the remainers tactics, tar every brexiter as violent thugs, bereft of any brains or morals, otherwise they would not want to leave the eu mothership.
Anybody either inciting, or condoning violence or abuse to anybody (MP or not)needs to be removed from society, as clearly they are a risk to the public. If you want to fight, go to the Middle-East and face off against ISIS. If you're a keyboard warrior sending online abuse or threats to anybody, your should be utterly ashamed of your actions.
If there is any civil unrest we know where to lay the blame;firmly at the feet of the VBQC. It is the remainers who are fomenting civil war, not the Leavers.
Excuse my ignorance but VBQC seems to be peculiar to AB & I've not seen a definition. What does it stand for?
Invented by TTT. Vichy British Quisling Collaborators - the ultimate in treachery.
TTT - you've got this all wrong. It's Boris's illegal actions that could incite a civil war led by decent people i.e. Remainers. And while you're answering this please explain what your abbreviations mean.
"a civil war led by decent people i.e. Remainers."

A contradiction surely? And the implication that people who voted Leave are not "decent people" - an incitement to something?
So how will this civil war pan out, then? How would each of us know which of us was a Brexiteer and which was a Remainer? Would we wear different uniforms, or be made to carry banners displaying our cause? Would malicious hackers invade our computers in the hope of ascertaining our stance and selling the info to the 'enemy'? Will children be coerced into revealing how their parents voted?
I can't do a Scouse accent, but i'll try; Civil war my ares!
there will be no civil war, just a general election, all the remainers mp's will lose there seats, bar a few, conservatives will have a majority
government, corbyn will get the push, or fall on his sword, liberals will stay as they should..
^
Yeah but what will the winning numbers be on tonight's £167M Euromillions draw?
Ken4155, who knows, 15 million to 1 so i read ? to much for one person anyway, should be split multi, to give more people a chance.

You're almost a factor of ten out, closer to 140 million-to-one.
