I feel the royal family should not be defending Andrew, and instead putting the spotlight on him, else it gives the impression the royals condone the behaviour.

If this was anyone else they would face retribution and trial.

I certainly wouldn't call him a paedophile. The females involved were young women by any standards. The question is were they groomed/procured/trafficked and with what persuasion or coercion & the immorality of that.

It is very questionable. Epstein was a pedophile.. they were stupidly close and had annual sex parties with young women who could barely speak English.

He is refereed to as a billionaire paedophile in many places online.

He was involved in the trafficking of "minors". He is a paedophile, if not he's at the very least a certified nonce. Well he is a nocne.. that's a fact because he's a sex offender.

He also had sexual intercourse with girls as young as 14 (that is know about anyhow).. Makes me feel very uncomfortable.

Epstein was a convicted sex offender but as far as I'm aware he didn't fancy pre-pubescent children (you know, children who haven't developed sexually). Young teenage girls maybe but that's not the same thing.

I agree with Prudie. I think the youngest girl I've read about was 14 yrs old which makes him a sex offender but not a paedophile. Until somebody can say where Virginia Roberts was when she was with Prince Andrew, then how do we know she was underage. I did read in the article that she was 17yrs old on 2 of the occasions when she met Andrew and 18 on the third occasion.
