October 31St - A Time For Celebration.
Funny how the Brexiteers have gone very quiet tonight. How long will it be until they admit that Boris is a lying, incompetent, arrogant and dangerous fool and give him the election result he deserves (I read that the Tories are already seeking out a safe seat for him rather than standing again in his current constituency.....says it all really)

lying, incompetent, arrogant and dangerous I can't disagree with any of those adjectives - and I notice that, while they say they disagree, nobody's actually tried to show which one of them is untrue.

We were going to be worse off any way.
If you notice, the claims of Brexit supporters since the referendum have slowly morphed from “ we’ll get a great deal and be better off” more or less to “the sky won’t fall in and at least we can do our own trade deals”
All this is about is fulfilling the result of a flawed referendum, with the added pretence that the matter will be settled at the date of leaving. The first objective I understand, tho I disagree with it. The second claim is plain wrong.

If you look at it:
Theresa May the remainer traitor got a deal and it pleased no one it seems. Because it left us worse off that staying in the EU.
Boris Johnson the great Leaver got a different deal and guess what it doesn’t please many because it’s also worse than staying in the EU.
Any Brexit made flesh by a deal exposes Brexit as a bad thing for the UK.
Then there’s “Leave with no deal” in which we pray to the god of Brexit as we jump off the cliff and repent at leisure in casualty for years after ;-)
Of course the response will be “you lost get over it” :-)
But it isn’t remain supporters with a monopoly on moaning.

You didn't seem to get my point ichkeria. If we had all got together with the result then a better deal would have been had most probably. The Eu knew from the start that we couldn't agree or many wouldn't accept the result so they have let us play this out to their own ends and it seems to have worked.
Why should anyone be noisy ?
Why would one be expected to admit a load of untrue claims ?
I hope he does get the election result he deserves, a parliament chock full of MPs who support democracy and the democratic decisions without trying to delay them evermore.
Most leaders are given a safe seat, trying to make something of it says more about yourself.

There is an element of truth there. At the start most assumed that the EU would be represented by decent, responsible individuals looking to do the best for the EU members. It took a while to realise that their lust for power in Europe overwrote that.
But long term we will be better off, but we have to make the first step and deal with it. Unfortunately parliament, aided and abetted by the EU, is trying to avoid that.
I doubt any leaver is suggesting "at least" something. That's remainer speak. The points are that remainer doom and gloom, worst case scenario claims are unaccepted, but there is the agreement that any change initially brings disruption and issues. But good management sees us through that. And afterwards we will have regained sovereignty and world wide trade deals with nations, and likely exceed our past achievements.
The referendum wasn't flawed, it was a simple question which was answered, yet still to be fulfilled.
Brexit will end on the date we leave. Rebuilding given the new situation will take longer, but the incentive is there. This is what was voted for.

OK. He doesn't lie any more than any other politician and it seems less than most given the effort he put into trying to get Brexit done before the Halloween deadline.
He's not noticeably incompetent, but when parliament is determined to thwart the will of the people there's a limit that one can expect to achieve. In the circumstances he's managed more than could be expected, but needs the backing of a democratically minded House.
Unsure how you measure arrogance. Seems to me he's simply being strong against the opposition, continuing to do what is right despite the underhand tricks played against him; and saying things as they are really are rather than lying as some do (which also supports the demolition of the first claim).
As for dangerous, all power holds danger but he hasn't shown any indication of being a greater risk than others. In fact he has supported the public decision; more dangerous are those wishing to treat the public's view with disdain.
So, in answer to your implied question. All four seems untrue. Are there any other claims, insults, lies folk need refuting ? Can't claim I'd be bothered to answer myself but I'm sure their are many here willing to step into the breach.

Agree with OG - blame Parliament! Conservatives still favourites, as under.

Do or die, rather be dead in a ditch, overblown grandstanding from an over-promoted, gutless windbag with not the slightest idea of what he's doing.
