One can only assume he believes that a Tory/BP majority would allow the 1st Jan to be reached without another foolish extension, thus taking us out without the deficits of Boris' agreement. My opinion is that even then there would still be a majority in the House preferring to tolerate the agreement's failures than to start from a clean sheet. I understand Nigel's view, it's valid, but I think it's impractical given MPs' views, and could conceivably ruin the creation of a pro-democracy government.

Cummings fought tooth and nail to keep Farage out of the mainstream Brexit campaign. The two parties want two different things: as Jim says there are at least two Brexits and each party plainly stands for a different one. It’s the People’s Front of Brexit versus the Brexit People’s Front. Fundamentally a clash of ideology and that sort of thing does not lead to pacts.

ALL politicians will sell their soul to gain power - Boris isn't alone in that. And he didn't "promise" he said he "would rather". Not the same thing.

Surely now is the time to give the Lib-Dems our vote.They are neither left-wing numpties like Jeremy(IRA,Hamas supporter)Corbyn or right-wing numpties like Boris("I would rather die in a ditch")Johnson.As for the nationalist parties,havent we had enough of people like Wee Burney and the DUP leader wagging their tails and their fingers at the rest of us while recieving millions of pounds they dont deserve.
Boris Johnson also swore down blind we would leave the EU on the 31st October, so him staunchly rejecting a pact with the Brexit party can be taken with a huge pinch of salt.
I voted to leave but I did not vote to leave the EU on their terms, in name only. I voted to leave not because of the unfettered movement of workers throughout the EU either. I voted to leave because of the ridiculous Laws set out regarding agricultural produce and movement of livestock that only Britain seemed to take any notice of, and the wastage this incurred. We all tut tutted over piles of rotting wonky carrots and cucumbers etc, and this problem will not be addressed by Boris's deal.
So what do people like me do? I will not vote for Boris if his deal goes through without amendments, nor will I vote for any other party so what is left? The Brexit party? If I thought they would double up with the Tories in a coalition then I would, as I think Farage could push the amendments needed to the present deal or even push for a no deal . Boris needs to rethink his attitude towards Farage.

It's no good telling me that one version is "fake" when some Leave voters even in this thread clearly see Boris's version as acceptable and others as completely not. The fact is that there is clearly a division in the Leave camp as to what it means and how to achieve it.
This has always been so. You may have believed in one version yourself but it's a manifest nonsense to suggest that you speak for every one of the 17.4 million. Particularly so when it is the leaders of the two campaigns who are at odds currently, and particularly so when most people currently appear to support, or at least tolerate, the version that you dismiss as fake.
