A great moment has found a little people... Schiller.
In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act...Orwell.
Are we being shafted again? We seem so apathetic that we deserve what we get.
In what way damning?
But do you trust Farage Gromit, after all he is very Tormanic.
David Small , you are not far wrong with your answer.
Oh I see damning on the Tories.

Yes I would say it was underhand but did they really think no one would. Go to Nigel and tell him what’s happening?
Tormanic? You should patent that, Gullible.
Bully for Nigel.
One hopes these constituencies where he has identified there have never been a Tory MP, get to hear his speech. In which case, possibly, the Tory candidate may not be able to achieve much splitting of the leave support.
Nigel should be Prime Minister. I hope he doesn't lose heart and desert UK politics although he would be fully justified in doing so.
If eight senior figures in the Brexit Party were offered peerages in return for more candidates withdrawing, why have their names, the name(s) of those making the offer and any supporting evidence not been produced?
James Cleverly didn't exactly deny it on QT tonight.
I would have thought Farage would have named names and published e-mails and transcripts of conversations to confirm the claim.
Tormanic, an avid fan of Mel Torme.
We must have Brexit and stop immigration.
If not we will end up like Malmo in Sweden.
Video - " Sweden Dying For Multiculturalism."
Not just shocking but terrifying.
You've seen Titanic.

You've seen a tornado?

Now see Tormanic. Jack and Rose survive the icy waters, but will they survive the terrible weather!

At a vivid imagination, near you!
interesting, and so right
There is an offence of Corrupt Withrawal of Candidature, under the Representation of the People Act 1983, which has been mentioned in the Daily Mail.

It sounds like that could apply but having just looked at it, it says,

"Any person who corruptly induces or procures any other person to withdraw from being a candidate at an election, in consideration of any payment or promise of payment, and any person withdrawing in pursuance of the inducement or procurement, shall be guilty of an illegal payment."

As it involves only of a payment or promise of a payment and not any other type of inducement I cannot see how it would apply.
Is there any proof of who actually made these offers?Without any such proof it is all pie in the sky.
I'm amazed that even if the allegation were true, it does not appear to be an offence under that Act.
