What you call ‘negative, offensive and conspiratorial notions emanate from several factors, not least the lie that the Jews killed Jesus. As we know, human beings are prone to jumping on bandwagons and, not being adverse to propagating lies when it suits, sticking the knife into those they perceive to be different. Because of their self-maintained exclusivity, the Jews are and always have been different. They are unique. They have always been money lenders, bankers and traders and they’ve made a lot of money from it, which means from other people, so whilst it might be politically correct to say that //any "ancient notion" relating to Jewish people and finances is utterly without foundation. //, it simply isn’t true.
