As I and others have said on previous threads, Tarzan is yesterday's man, hanging on the illusion that he is still a man of importance, and that his opinion, or his vote, actually matter to anyone.

The old gentleman should be gently pointed in the direction of the afternoon bingo game, and leave politics to people who actually do matter, and have some real influence.

Sorry if it’s been hashed Andy, been a bit out of it the last few days with Shingles but yes, he is a yesterday man, although I liked him back in the day
Unfortunately Hezza simply cannot accept the result of the referendum (and of course he's by no means alone). His is not an argument over how Brexit should be best achieved, it is that it should be scrapped unilaterally and entirely. Basically "B***oc*s to the 17.4m people who voted to leave. You were too thick/racist/uneducated (or whatever) to know what you were doing. Ms Swinson and I know best and that's what you'll get."

As suggested, afternoon telly and bingo beckons for him.
He is a serial assassin. Boris is not the only Tory PM to be stabbed in the back by him.
Isn’t it near time for his dirt nap?
Go Tarzan
I remain (no pun intended) utterly unmoved by any politician, past or present, who advocates the simple ignoring of the will of the people through democratic process - which is the result of the referendum, and which must be enacted as dictated by the electorate.

The notion that the will of the people can be brushed aside by those with the arrogance to infer that they know better is to be treated with the contempt it deserves, as do those who continue to peddle it on a daily basis.

When I say I liked him , I’ve never voted Tory before....till now that is
Forget the telly and the bingo. Michael and his wife have planted thousands of trees at their home and elsewhere. Long may he continue to do so.
I've got nothing else good to say about him though;-(
Those that vote Tory will get more of what they’ve been getting. Labour are pants, Lib Dem aren’t, green? Well I’m sick of the lot of them. Nigel has pulled his man from my area. So I’ll not be voting. As for Tarzan zzzzzzz
One of Major's first mistakes was to promote him. A wiser man would have said, "If he can do that to Mggie he can do it to me", and given him a wide berth.
Ladybirder
Tarzan was always at home in the trees. Along with other treacherous apes.
Don't worry - he's only swung to the lib -Dems temporarily
old crow living in a mansion, with dreams of grandeur...peasants dont know as they cannot think, upstairs downstairs mentality.
Stabbed in the back eh? There may yet be a ditch moment.
Bobbisox 17.32," I've never voted Tory before " I can see why. This subject was discussed on here on 12th November . do try and keep up with the posts, OK!.

Gulliver you’re not only a fantasist but a rude one with it
not just yesterdays man, but an embittered old duffer who should retire from the scene.
He’s hardly stabbing him in the back.
That was a different Michael three years ago.
Everyone knows where Heseltine stands with relation to the current Tory party. Whether that says more about him or the current Tory party I wouldn’t like to say.
//Michael and his wife have planted thousands of trees at their home and elsewhere.//

He must get a bung for each one from the EU.
