I did have a wee smilette (sorry, I'm listening to Nicola) at the Dennis Skinner result.

The result says it all! :o))))

I spoke to my friend last night (the one I told you about) - a lifelong Labour voter who couldn't bring herself to vote Conservative - but, like you, she bit the bullet and did it! I'm still reeling from the shock!! Great going girls - both of you!! Happy days!! ;o)

Yes, and in six weeks I'll also be dating twin supermodels.

Good for you Stocket.
You are right about Corbyn being a Tory asset, JD, but I personally hope he fades into obscurity and never rears his treacherous head in politics again.

CG, // I personally hope he fades into obscurity and never rears his treacherous head in politics again. //

Nice idea but he retained his seat so he'll probably be scrunched up somewhere on the back benches. Let's face it though - there's nowhere else for him to go. Who'd have him?

Thanks for BA hereIam. :o)
You may not want thanks, hia, but respect to you for being open-minded and deciding what you wanted. J have already seen some ABers claiming who they want to win "next time"... It makes far more sense to stay open-minded and wait and see what happens first x
Bear in mind that if Corbyn retires as an MP soon his pension will be based on his salary as Leader of the Opposition. If he waits he will get a back-bencher's pension.
The main thing is to leave, even with an imperfect deal. Things can always be changed as in any situation. Totally agree with ymf.
