Define the "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned " metoo mob please.
I don't know and neither do you.
i believe he's guilty, too many women have come forward
some have given their accounts and disgust at the fact that some have settled for money, something that one woman said was appalling.
What is 'gaslighting'?
no idea ummm.

gaslight
/ˈɡaslʌɪt/
Learn to pronounce
verb
gerund or present participle: gaslighting

manipulate (someone) by psychological means into doubting their own sanity.
"in the first episode, Karen Valentine is being gaslighted by her husband
Then, imo, he's guilty, he used his position to manipulate people.
that is what i think..
well blimey there ARE a lot of them -
all saying he is a dirty old man

the £19m comes from an insurance co apparently - he is bankrupt and the company has ceased trading ( the dirty ) dream-machine or what ever it is called
whatever happens he's finished.
I love the way the Zimmer frame makes an appearance.

Classic tactic from the accused. He'll probably reveal that he's suffering from Alzheimers at some point as well.
Canary, in what way has he "scorned" these successful women that he gave jobs to?
I think the word is "abused", rather than "scorned"
Probably... canary is suggesting one or the other- so my question was to him, really x
"Is He Really Guilty,"

Well surely that is for a Court to decide, not a kangaroo media trial.

If he is found guilty then I will damn him to hell, until then I shall abstain from making any conclusion as I simply dont have all the facts.
Power makes people power mad. I think that is a truism that is often forgotten.

He was a very powerful man for a long time and the casting couch had, at least up to that point, been an entry level requirement for anyone who looks nice.

The casting couch has always been about power. He had the power to make or break careers and the women desperately wanted that career. They both got something out of it but the balance was still lopsided and unequal.

If you go along with that unequal relationship in the hope he fulfills his side of the bargain and puts you in the film or boosts your career then you may feel dirty and used but it was to get what you wanted.

The real problem is when the couch is used by force and although I am not privy to details I imagine with his power he probably thought it a game to force himself on women. They want to really but it’s a game they use to justify it. You never know he might even have got a kick from the ‘game’ of force!!

None of it is right of course but powerful people justify themselves and are insulated from reality. They know it’s wrong but come to believe their own hype.
