Not convinced about the clumsy syntax and sometimes clumsy eloquence, but the message was clear enough. No speculation regarding the plane "crash" though. Perhaps Trudeau will come make a similar appearance and tell us something about the 63 Canadians killed. The latest theory being that they were on "holiday" and visiting relatives. Just as Canadians have done for a hundred years.

Togo - they will have been going to Canada via Kiev which will be a cheap transit. Probably Iranian ex pats living in Canada and returning home. Obscure transit routes are usually cheaper and it's quite hard to get flights into Tehran as a lot of airlines pulled out of there recently.
