Ikea Closure
Looks like the flat pack is collapsing, first closure of a UK branch. Have you ever purchased from them?

We've just replaced the doors mainly to modernise the 'Look' and now have a brand new kitchen for around £450. I've replaced my stand alone cooker for an IKEA hob and built in oven -the oven cost £199 and I can honestly say its the best oven I've cooked with and I've have expensive ones. I don't pay extra money for snob value -if something does the job then rock on.

Ermm - that's deliberate .
If you are 'forced ' to walk through the various departments , then it's more than likely that something else ( other than what you went in for ) will catch your eye ; which you will buy , if not then , perhaps later .
It's like supermarkets moving stuff around on shelves to different locations ; because after a while shoppers are used to where to go directly to get what they want ; so they are in and out quickly .
Move the stuff around and the shopper is 'forced ' to go searching for what they came in for ; and in so doing they are noticing other items , some of which they will purchasing as well
