SOTU speech is basically a election campaign every year but more so in an election year lol

But to be honest everything he said was true and so regardless of an election year it was a good speech.

One can agree or disagree on stuff such as abortion or health care (we have a totally different system so can’t compare) but what in the address was not good?

Oh and the look on Pelosi’s face when he called out sanctuary cities and states and in particular NY and California. Absolutely priceless.

I’m guessing Pelosi had no rebuttal to the part of his speech used for the BBC soundbite(jobs and incomes up, crime down, future bright etc), hence her petulant show of displeasure.
The truth hurt her too much I suppose......?

I haven’t seen that yet but I bet it is a petulant refusal to acknowledge anything good that the US has done or can do.

EMMIE, they use an autocue called a presidential Teleprompter and many speakers use them.

If you look at the video, there is a stand with an angled sheet of glass on his left and on his right. The words are projected onto the glass and then read.
