The Prime Minister, it seems, referred to Nicola Sturgeon as "That bloody Wee Jimmie Krankie woman".

Some regular users on here are often castigated for referring to Scotland's First Minister as such (though you have to accept that the resemblance is remarkable). Would BoJo fall foul of AB's rules?

Yeah, absolutely. He should be better than that and should make a formal apology to Jeanette Krankie immediately.

Yep, I think it would definitely be an ‘answer removed’ NJ :o[

Lol
well you can nae deny the resemblance!
It's lame and unprofessional and the day I start taking lessons in how to refer to people from Boris et al will never arrive.
Oops, gob started before brain in gear... He will do a Trump and just grin through it. I always thought she was Jimmie Crankie before going into politics. Only kidding but we have all surely noticed.
No matter what he thinks of NS, it is totally unprofessional to call fellow politicians names. NS is never less than professional when she talks about BJ although she may have her private thoughts. He reminds me of Worzel Gummidge.
A lot of people up here in Scotland call her Wee Burney after an annoying little chancer in the tv show Rab C Nesbitt.
One can understand him not being able to contain himself at that point. A body can only stand so much. Probably a spur of the moment outburst.
Well Boris (whom God preserve) has put up with much worse without demur during the last 3 years, a lot of it from her too.
ynnafymmi, I thought the little chap on Rab C was Bunny?
must be the accent
didnt he (Burney) get done for having pornographic images or something?
indeed, Eric Cullen (wee Burney) was convicted in 1995 but when his own history of being a victim of child abuse was revealed in court, his sentence was commuted to probation. he was on the cusp of returning to the role when he suffered the illness that killed him.
Oh dear, that’s a sad story mushroom

Yes I always thought she was more like Wee Burney Nesbitt (I used to get him and his brother Gash confused until Ms Sturgeon started appearing on the telly). Great shame about Eric Cullen though.

BA to Mozz for the gallant defence of Mrs Tough!
He makes me laugh. Love him for refusing to walk on eggshells.
Me too Naomi, I love how he just takes things by the throat and does it after a twittering dithering person such as Teresa May, he’s very refreshing
He is, bobbi.
As much as the resemblance is uncanny and we do tend to label people as it’s both funny and derogatory in equal measures, sometimes we shouldn’t be having our elected representatives acting in such an unbecoming manner.

Just because the social trend is speak first think later we do expect more of these people.

In the same way we expect them to have decorum and act and dress with the dignity their office demands.

The ex actress Labour MP wasn’t lambasted because she’s a woman but because she dressed so inappropriately for her job and what we expect her to do.

The same is said to all our elected Official, Male and female. Words, actions and demeanour.
Cassa, //Just because the social trend is speak first think later //

I don't believe that is the social trend. Quite the opposite. For fear of being accused of causing offence, treading on eggshells is accepted as de rigueur these days ... well, except for Boris and Donald that is.
