They don't want to, and we don't like to ask or say no.
The Times says 'the wedding will be paid for privately', but I don't know if this includes security. Have you read/seen something more specific?

Thanks wolf.The problem is that the security is necessary for the protection of the public. Maybe the groom could be asked to provide a percentage of the cost.
