Are you pleased Boris is going ahead with this or should leniency be shown?
Apparently only 20 were on the flight to Kingston as the remaining 30 stayed on a technicality of them not being able to get proper legal representation on their mobiles due to an 02 mast not working

Thoughts please

* deportation *
i am not sure about this, many seemingly have not lived in Jamaica for years, and have family ties here, wives, children.
Break the law. Pay the price.
my other head says deport them and take the families with them, but in all honesty i am torn over this
A Home Office spokesman said: "We make no apology for trying to protect the public from serious, violent and persistent foreign national offenders.

I'm not.
I'm glad it has gone ahead, and once the 'technicality' has been sorted, I hope the remaining people are deported as well.

The Government is merely following the law.

These are not UK citizens, and their crimes are considered serious enough for the deportation criteria under the current law to have been triggered.

Has anybody heard the Lammy speech? The man is a prat. To all intents and purposes he was accusing the UK of being racist over the deportation.

I agree with the home office spokesman. They shouldn't be allowed to stay here.
