Their tourist board must be tearing their hair out! I recently saw their "come to Egypt" ads and this sort of thing does them no favours.

She had a wonderful time, no problems, lovely staff and so on....BUT it was a luxury holiday couriered end to end, although I don't think the courier needed to do any intervening. While I don't think that patting a security guard in any airport is a good idea, I think there is something missing from the story here.
// In backward countries you shut up and do as you're told. Silly man.//
anzaal misr - medinet Luxor - al yawm al talith - inshallah !
yeah going dere Wed - and I agree with Nigh. She clearly doesnt go around kissing security guards in Hurgardy. sensible gurl
My brudda was nearly arrested with his monocular birdie telescope in Luxor airport, and he commented later "it was lucky you speak a few words of Spanish and sorted it out" - and I said Arabic and I speak more than a few words.
It is not a sniper-scope - he uses it for birdwatching
funny how the words come out when the need arises

If you recollect people in Manchester were undressing All The Way ! when being searched, and getting fined. I eventually wrote to the authorities and suggested that it were ONE person who was getting it - then surely HE needed retraining. It stopped.
(they ran out of clothes to take off? hur hur hur)
there is no way around it - you just have to be herded around like sheep
