Is Labour, in particular the left-wing such as Momentum, willing to make the compromises necessary to make it electable? If Starmer wins then he will have a battle with the left, in the same way that Neil Kinnock did to turn round Labour from the Foot years.

drmorgans 09:10 I don't think so, not in its current configuration anyway. Kinnochio first took steps to make them electable, St Tony and co completed their move to Tory lite and got them in. This latest lot are back to pre Kinnochio days, completely unelectable. They seem to like it like that, they can sing the red flag happy in the knowledge that they are never going to acquire the keys to no 10.
