They only have to wait another 3 days then they'll be free to come home, rather than being brought home now and face another 14 days as "prisoners"
They are in an unfortunate position, but i it really up to boris johnson to sit out?

Even without the coronavirus outbreak the things are a breeding ground for disease. The Beep Beep See will of course ramp up the volume in yet another flimsy attempt to criticise the Government. That is a hysterical media buzz phrase, and bears no resemblance to reality.
I have cruised many times, and will continue to do so, because I know that the cruise liners are use adhere to scrupulously tight hygiene and cleanliness regulations.
Before anyone enters any dining room on any ship, someone will spray hand sanitiser on your hands, to be rubbed in. No spray, no admission.
Toilets are cleaned scrupulously several times a day, and all areas of the ship are cleaned thoroughly and regularly throughout any cruise.
Because of the nature of the enclosed environment, an infection can and will spread on board a ship, but that does not equate in any way to it being a 'floating petri dish' - that is utter nonsense.
