That, presumably, was what drove TTT to suggest Brown's support would damage Sir Keir Starmer...hence the question, 'Body Blow for SKS?'
It seems you're the gibberer, given that the above is perfectly clear. In an attempt to help you, my suggestion was that a leadership recommendation from Iain Duncan Smith is worse than a leadership recommendation from virtually anyone else, including Gordon Brown!

Yes, TTT, but you seem to be referring to the December general election, whereas the SKS sitution refers to the Labour Party leadership election; quite another matter, I'm sure you'll agree.
By the way, apropos an earlier discussion of ours, did you notice that the Muslim Council of Britain had recently raised again the question of Islamophobia in the Conservative Party? You'll recall all the remaining candidates for the Tory leadership back in June last year solemnly pledged to hold an inquiry into that.
The party then reneged on that and, instead, said they would hold an inquiry into all known forms of pejudice or some such 'universal' nonsense.
Since that announcement, I've neard nothing further about the subject. Have you...or has it now been kicked into the long grass altogether, as expected?

Quizmonster//The problem, TTT, is that Muslims think these "schoolboy jokes" - made by grown-up legislators like Boris Johnson, let's not forget - are offensive, not funny. So do I and masses of other non-Islamic British people.//
Only left wing *** wits, Q. Normal people don't give a damn what the terrorist supporting MCB think about anything. In fact we don't think there should be an MCB and one day, inshallah, there won't be.

"Normal people don't give a damn what the terrorist supporting MCB think about anything."
So you feel that none of the Tory leadership hopefuls were "normal people". I'd agree. However, each and every one of them pledged - if elected leader - to open an inquiry into Tory Islamophobia which had been claimed by the MCB and others to exist. That would seem to me to prove that they DID "give a damn" what these people thought. Otherwise, why make even a pretence that they would do anything about it?
