Fears are that the number will be far greater with Covid-19 – a number of specialists say there will be so many more that there won’t be anywhere to treat some who are very ill. If that is true it is worth a fuss.
// a thousand or perhaps babies involved //
babies, unlikely. based on data from 3 days ago (the newest I could find) the mortality rate increases with age, from 0% for 0-10, 0.2% 10-19 ans 19-39, 0.4% 40-50 and so on up to 14% for over 80. the mortality rate is likely exaggerated because mild cases are likely unreported.

georgesgirl //gness my daughter is heavily pregnant and she is like me, not worried about this virus at all and laughs at all the scaremongering, as I do.//
Would daughter still be laughing now that a woman with the disease has given birth and the baby has it too?
I am not panicking, but I admit I'm concerned. I'm over 70 with health issues. My husband is fit and well but has had a heart attack.
