It's apparently going to return again and again and in order to defend we have to catch it anyway.

// Hysteria whipped up by the mainstream media. They are loving it.
There is so much 'fake news' about it is almost unbelievable. //

There have been 5,438 deaths and we are just at the start. That is the equivalent of 30 Boeing 737 aircraft crashing.

and as been pointed out over 8,000 died last year from flu... where is the fuss about that i wonder...
As I understand it, the flu virus at its peak was responsible for the hospitalisation of less than 1 in 10,000 of the UK population at any one time. Fears are that the number will be far greater with Covid-19 – a number of specialists say there will be so many more that there won’t be anywhere to treat some who are very ill. If that is true it is worth a fuss.
17,000 people died of flu last year, and there is a fuss about it. That is why 25 million people have by offered free vaccination by their Doctor this year.
There's a fuss about the flu every year!
Why would coronavirus return year after year? SARS didn't and neither did MERS.
SARS and MERS weren’t Pandemics, and they were contained. Coronavirus has critical mass. There are a lot more people carrying it to pass it on.
SARS infected 8000 people
Corona has infected 148,051 (and is just starting).
ten deaths today
so yeah what IS all the fuss about
Nigh will find ten a subject to laugh about....I am sure that would be because it cd be more - a thousand or perhaps babies involved

so everything on AB is er "normal"
// a thousand or perhaps babies involved //

babies, unlikely. based on data from 3 days ago (the newest I could find) the mortality rate increases with age, from 0% for 0-10, 0.2% 10-19 ans 19-39, 0.4% 40-50 and so on up to 14% for over 80. the mortality rate is likely exaggerated because mild cases are likely unreported.

oh. the question i was answering has now gone, so my answer now makes no sense.
georgesgirl //gness my daughter is heavily pregnant and she is like me, not worried about this virus at all and laughs at all the scaremongering, as I do.//

Would daughter still be laughing now that a woman with the disease has given birth and the baby has it too?

I am not panicking, but I admit I'm concerned. I'm over 70 with health issues. My husband is fit and well but has had a heart attack.
