Surely Boris has more to do than interfere with Scottish football,
Yes he is prime minister of Britain but football matters would be better sorted out by the governing bodies, there is enough of them ,and overpaid for what they do

Liverpool have beaten the rest of the league out of sight, i don't think anyone could argue -they are the champions. the other leagues are not so clear cut though, and deciding who gets the coveted and lucrative eurpoean entries may well end in court-fuelled acrimony.

cancelling relegation will make each league club-heavy and may require the number of games to be thinned, which would need careful thought in the matter of "home advantage".

whatever is decided won't please everybody. we live in interesting times.
The obvious solution for the PL is to play on behind closed doors. That was their plan before last Friday’s panic.
I personally don’t think there is a sensible solution that avoids finishing the season, albeit much later
Baz, "yoghurt knitting"? That's a new one!

Ironic that I was called a fool the other day in AB. Now who was that by again...?
//The obvious solution for the PL is to play on behind closed doors.//

that's no longer an option. several clubs - leicester and arsenal in particular - are without key players due to "self isolation".
Ich, i think its gone beyond the "behind closed doors" stage now. Too many clubs have had players/staff affected by the virus now.
Calling idiots dummies, etc. is light hearted banter.
Ignore your knockers, Naomi.
jno, //PP's posts are perfectly comprehensible and only mildly teasing.//

Mildly teasing? Think how amused you’d be if it were suggested that you laugh at people dying. Hilarious, eh? Still, thanks for acknowledging that PP is harassing me. You too, gulliver. Much appreciated. Clearly several people are aware of it now so that’s no bad thing.

Mozz, that was me - because you were being foolish.
Thanks Spicerack - and Theland.
All I'm saying Naomi, is practice what you preach. You're an intelligent woman, you can form an argument without resorting to name calling. People have different opinions to you, it's not difficult to accept that, no matter how much you disagree.
If you can't take it , Don't give it, Ok
But anyone who’s had it will presumably recover, and they are not infectious after a short while anyway
Arsenal are apparently back to what passes for normal after their manager actually had it
//Calling idiots dummies, etc. is light hearted banter.//

Maybe not so much if you're on the receiving end of the "banter" Spicy.

//Ignore your knockers//

It's not polite to talk about a lady's knockers pal!
Naomi, I think you’re a threat to those who follow you around here, intelligence wise that is, ignore and carry on with those posts I like reading :0)
You've been watching too many Carry On films, as well, mozz.
Mozz, I haven’t called you names. When you said this:

//A succession of Tory leaders taught me to never trust a Tory MP. //

…this is what I said ….//I regret saying this but it has to be said. You're a fool. Listening to politicians of any flavour should have taught you to trust none. I don't.//

Thanks bobbi. Years of it day after day, thread after thread, gets a bit wearing though.
Exactly which part of "You're a fool" isn't calling me a name? Personally, I couldn't care less, I've been called far worse by people I actually care about, but it's undeniably name calling! You could just as easily said, "I disagree", but you chose to take it further than that.
Mozz, Take it as you will.
Meanwhile ... (sigh)
