Och no, Roy. (stated with the same certainty and therefore hope of the same result as the good doctor and her gig)
She can now go and assist in the very very busy hospitals.
I was just going on her saying she couldn’t do her job without Catherine Calderwood.
//She can now go and assist in the very very busy hospitals//

She'll have to self isolate first, after breaking government isolation and social distancing advice.
She couldn't do her job before Dr Calderwood either, I'm sure not much will change, maybe a slightly scarier look behind the eyes.
She did a 70 mile round trip two weekends running.

5.5 million people in Scotland.

If they all did the same unnecessary journey, it would be 385 million road miles.

Undoubtedly in that lot, there would be crashes and breakdowns requiring emergency services and social contact.

That's why she was putting out the message NOT to make unnecessary journeys, and why she had to go for making one - twice. Total hypocrisy and lack of leadership.
// She'll be there as long as the tame quack on Radio 2 who called Trump 'An idiot' live on air is.//
well he is ! whats wrong with that
Absolutely nothing, Peter, just unusual for our national broadcaster to allow personal comment without following with a 'not the views of the BBC' disclaimer
// 5.5 million people in Scotland. //
and if each one were CMO - then would 5.5 million CMOs in Scotland. far too many for the work that a CMO does
even during an epidemic

well this is 3T's thread so non sequiturs abound
but I think ellopsis should take the Sunday award
IDS on tee vee sayhing Boris is still in possession of his marbles
as tho that is the most important thing

pathologist IDS ( joke ! Joke! ) has plumped for bacterial superinfection

the Beeb Hack says 22 39 - Boris thrives on human contact - hur hur hur - yeah we know what sort of human contact !
And what about the ones without a driving licence?

This really hasn't been thought through.

I think you will find this is a sequitur when you consider why she is no longer in that post.
"If they all did the same unnecessary journey"

Aside from disputing that the checking on other properties isn't necessary; "they" don't all own other properties that they need to check, so won't be doing the same. One may as well say x people are still going out to work, if everyone drove the same there'd be Bedlam and the world would end.

The only thing possibly wrong with what she did was if she was preaching that others mustn't go to check on their other properties. Otherwise it's an example of overzealous excess control in a country that is supposed to value personal freedom/responsibility.
