Just watching the news and they are basically telling us exactly what she will be saying. Why do they have to tell us word for word what she will say? Why not wait until we watch the actual address?

I'm not sure why they'd do that, but if a media organisation is given the text of a major speech in advance, they'll publish it, because getting news to the pubic asap is what they do. And it would be what the palace intended them to do.
tigger, I agree about being told in advance what she will be saying. But this happens more and more now, especially on TV with its relentless "coming up......". They've even started doing this on Antiques Roadshow where at the beginning they show clips of some of the antiques that will be shown. I don't want to know things in advance!
