//This would apply to Muslim families in the UK, France, or anywhere else. As the author (a Muslim himself) says, “This needs to be recognised more broadly before it’s too late”.//
I am bit confused by what is he saying. I read that and thought it sounded logical that more in the Muslim community need to recognise that their lifestyle puts them at higher risk. However, reading the article I see he follows that up with ‘If Muslims feel let down, excluded or forgotten but the government response, there will be repercussions that will last longer than the outbreak.’ What is he actually suggesting?
He also complains that a lot of the information is only in English, but instead of complaining could not someone in the Muslim community translate it and make it available to all? It’s not that difficult.
Ask not what…
