Because I think it's pertinent. The Cambridges releasing this picture to the media at the current time illustrates perfectly the stark contrast in attitude between the two couples.

SP, It may be nowt to do with the pictures but it does serve as a very good example of how to deal with the media. The shut out method has been demonstrated time and again to be flawed. The "Never complain never explain method" has pretty good results to but I think what Wills and Kate are doing seems to work better. Just feed the press from time to time and they seem happy. If you keep a tiger starving, when it gets a chance it will eat you, if you feed it regularly and it knows that, you can get on together. Yes yes I know it's sad and wrong but that's the way of the world as far as the royals et al go.

Totally agree with your thread naomi. The pictures of little Louis on his birthday are beautiful, what a gorgeous little lad. I don't think he looks like George at all, but on that second photograph, he does!! Kate and William do everything right. Look and learn M & H, look and learn.

What also needs a mention is that Kate is a very good photographer, all the way through her photos have captured the happiness and fun in the young royal family.
I love the one with Prince Charles, had things gone differently it might have been his memorial, it's just a grandad not a future king

She is indeed, Rowan. I love it too that those children seem to be allowed to be children. Great to see little kids having a wonderful time with paint - and no one caring if they mess their clothes up.
