I think they’re doing the best they can with the scientific advice that they are given. It’s uncharted territory with no bar for them to be measured against.

It’s a case of ‘damned if they do, and damned if they don’t’
Do you mean other political leaders?

No, scout leaders.
Are the scouts not cancelled ?

A million Scots on this site yet when I ask them how they think Scotland is coping they don't reply.

Why?
Nicola's doing a good job politically in that she is doing what she can to look after the Scottish interests, playing to her national supporters by showing she will ignore the UK government where it suits and is managing to avoid any flack as she can always deflect blame to the UK government where necessary . Like Starmer she claims credit for persuading Boris to decide to publish a roadmap for relaxation- but then dismissed the plans as premature when they came
Keir Starmer is doing a reasonable job of appearing statesmanlike and reasonable and semi supportive... but always adds a "but". If the govt does something he likes he is good at saying "they listened to us". He was able to appear surprised and concerned when the announcement on Sunday of the outline roadmap didn't contain detail, even though he knew the detailed document was to be published and debated on the following day.
Both are playing a good longer game
I am really suspicious of Keir Starmer. He has an air of used car salesman about him.
There is only one UK leader because there is only one UK. But I know what you mean.

Our tartan cousins do appear to be very reticent.
She is an embarrassment, she just wants to be seen as doing things differently to England so she can appeal to fellow England haters. Similar story is Drakeford in Wales but he's got 2 planks on his shoulders. Steer Calmer as been mostly constructive though.
I don't think he has.....I see the cloak of concern and "we're all in this together....my job is to be helpful and supportive" but he doesn't lose a chance to get a dig in and really nit picked to find things to be "concerned and helpful" about in the new Covid guidance. The sort of used car salesman who will go out of his way.....give up his profit....to find the "right car for you" but show a very different face when the silencer falls off and the radiator splits.
Farage was last seen getting a visit from the police for breaking lockdown guidance, 2/10.

LibDem co-leaders (whoever they are) are missing in action. Not heard a peep out of them for months. 2/10.

SKS is making a bit of an effort, but hasn’t really settled into the job of leader of the opposition. 4/10.
I completely agree with Woofy about Starmer.
// A million Scots on this site yet when I ask them how they think Scotland is coping they don't reply.

I think Scotland and the Scots are coping ok
I found Starmer's remarks on Sunday evening after Boris had addressed the country to be shallow and unhelpful. Spoken from the safety of Opposition where you don't actually have to do anything.
To 3T, doing what's best for Scotland and being a English hater is much the same thing.
lol mozz always?
Any particular reason why the Scottish response to the Covid-19 crisis is considered fair game politically, whereas woe betide anybody who dares ask questions about Downing Street's response. Sauce for the goose seems appropriate here, does it not? Sturgeon has her own chief medical adviser and is therefore responsible for her own decisions.

I think Boris is genuinely doing his utmost to do a good job, Nicola seems to be doing everything in her power to undermine the government, and I wouldn’t trust Starmer as far as I could throw him. Are there any others?
I'd be more worried about the Scotland and Wales situation if they wanted to go further than England.
