Just listened to the Labour leader on PMs questions, what a boring man he seems to be, one tone Starmer!
Labour have no hope under his leadership, looks like i'll be 'lending' my vote to the Tories for sometime to come.

I’m holding out a lot of hope for KS.
I’m a dyed in the wool Tory, but I firmly believe there needs to be a credible opposition and opposition leader, and let’s face it, he will be a country mile better than Corbyn the clown.
I heard the exchange about the letter, and he did let himself down a bit .

//tigs: "I'd rather him than Corbyn" - in the same way you'd rather have smallpox than ebola?//
I've never been a Labour supporter and doubt I'll ever change my mind, but I feel that Keir Starmer is more charismatic and credible as a leader than Corbyn who I found to be rather gormless.
Not sure about the smallpox and ebola reference but I'll take it in good humour.

er yes or er no I thought it rather obvious that Bonker Boris phoned Starmer and talked about something else !
I thought he did rather well
but then. I listened to his questions and didnt take what Boris said as the absolute unvarnished truth....

Completely agree with the point about a country needing a strong opposition, including a strong leader of the opposition.
But it pains me to say that Starmer just isn't. Yes, pretty much anyone but Corbyn, but what I've seen and heard of him so far, Starmer is little more than a posh boy with a knighthood and a Savile Row suit.
Whatever you think of Blair, he'd have hauled Johnson over the coals over the clear mismanagement of the COVID-19 pandemic, not to mention Cummings-gate.
It is the duty of the opposition to oppose, after all.
