He's a fiction writer, I couldn't see anything about his qualifications or expertise in the field of epidemiology.

Do you have a summary?
Does he say it's just like flu?
I see his main point is it's deliberately been exaggerated by the media (presumably MSM) and is "being used as a cover for government overreach". I'm not sure which particular government or whether they are all in on it together
Journalism and integrity? mutually exclusive.
Alex Berenson main gripe is that lockdown and social distancing are unnecessary because the predictions are massively wrong.

In this clip he is attacks the University of Washingtons predictions in early May.

The prediction from the University of Washington was:
// ...estimates a “projected 134,475 cumulative COVID-19 deaths (estimate range of 95,092 to 242,890) could occur in the US through August.” //

The US currently has 110,000 deaths. With 2 months to go, the UoW is 25,000 short. That seems remarkably accurate, and definitely not a massive exaggeration as Berenson argued.

He has a part one book on Amazon explaining in detail.
Amazon blocked it. The Musk got involved and now it’s on the site for kindle download. £2.69 or thereabouts.
Well worth a perusal.
He is not a journalist, he is an author.
This is not a book, it is the first part of a series of pamphlets. It is an over long opinion piece, but his opinion is nuts.

The conspiracy theory he is peddling, that the predictions are massively overblown has be proven wrong by the facts. The University of Washington said 95,000+ corona deaths in the US by 4th August, and today we have 110,000.
He is wrong. Amazon banned his book because they know it is fake news. Unfortunately they changed their mind after a few hours, and the pamphlet is now for sale to anyone gullible enough to by it.
Is this the book Amazon banned then Elon Musk tweeted and all of a sudden its back up for sale with a ... oops sorry we banned it by mistake?
//Is this the book Amazon banned then Elon Musk tweeted and all of a sudden its back up for sale with a ... oops sorry we banned it by mistake? //

It was a genuine mistake. They didn't realise it would sell like hotcakes until Musk tweeted about it.
