That's the police's responsibility. They had a man in handcuffs and with three officers on top of him. You can't tell me that anything he did previously justifies their actions, and justifies his death.
The difficulty in raising someone's past in relation to a current situation, is that it can lead to a culture of invalid retribution, which then slides into an acceptance that the individual 'had it coming' or as punishment for something they 'got away with'.

So the police would have no need to know his name. Isn’t there witnesses who claim he wasn’t given to opportunity to get out the car but was dragged out and then knelt on and murdered?
