Obama Good, Orange Man Bad
Or is it the other way round.
Perhaps the bias manipulation of news is why some people are anti Trump.
Worth listening to.

Was that because he is black or because he’s a Democrat. I tend to think probably a bit of both.
Trump is not particularly elegant in his speech and the way he comes across that’s for sure. But when read in context and without having been screamed at its mostly reasonable.
No politician gets it right all the time and he is no different there. But the constant whining and screeching and weeping and wailing about anything he says is both tiresome and pathetic.
Tiresome because it’s like any child that doesn’t get its own way. Temper tantrums and flinging themselves on the floor kicking and screaming. In the end the adult in the room either takes action, walks away or gives in.
Pathetic because unlike children they are adults doing the manipulative kicking and screaming.
And if you can’t be bothered to listen to this clip because you have made up your mind already, then quite frankly for me your value within this debate is almost nonexistent. If you can’t be bothered to listen to the hypocrisy of your side then you will forever be in ignorance.

Cassa you continue to ignore comments on the fact he was filmed Live saying these things. The bleach incident, yesterdays insensitive guff -all there, not in black and white but in glorious technicolour for all to see with their own eyes, hear with their own ears. You continue to advise us that the press manipulate what we READ about Trump. Perhaps they do ,but you can't argue that Trump did not say something, or that it was taken out of context, when the words are coming out of his own mouth at his own volition. Truly, if you think its ok for a President to make reference to a recently murdered man looking down on Trump for Heaven and praising Trumps economical policies and drop in unemployment figures then I would go book a room at a clinic cos you seriously need counselling.

It's more that I'm not sure why a clip of Ted Cruz ranting is in any way meant to be informative. There's no sense in complaining about media bias if your counterpoint to that is a different kind of bias.

I sometimes wonder who cassa is trying to convince: herself or everybody else? So much of what Trump says is barely coherent so it's hard to tell if it would be sensible or not if tidied up. But, as I say, someone who boasts about their IQ, who tells us that "I'm more modest than you would believe" and so on... it's the horse's mouth that puts me off him. Media bias there may well be, but you can dispense with that and *still* find him to be classless, undignified, incoherent, and frankly a spoilt little brat who never learned to take no for an answer.
casa - The President said, and we all heard him say it, that today was a 'good day' for George Floyd - the man was murdered for heavens sake!
That and that alone with no 'media spin' shows you how this man thinks - and still you look for ways to defend him.
Either you are a devil's advocate, and take your role very very seriously, or you have a genuine vested interest of which I am not aware, in simply not seeing what is there for you to see.

Roy - I’m quite willing to say that I found Obama a deep disappointment, that Bill C was a philanderer, that Hillary had some dubious deals and that Biden has some questions to answer.
I’d be saying it more often and more loudly if I ever saw a Trumpista admit that (even occasionally) The Great Donald exhibited less than 100% veracity and was (just possibly) not always a very nice person.
But then I’d also be waiting for flying pigs and hell to freeze over.

Unemployment in the US was falling before Covid-19, although it is worth pointing out that this was a continuation of a trend that started during Obama's term. How much of Trump's policies actually led to a continued fall in unemployment is less than clear, although I'd be happy to be corrected on this point.
