To observe a minutes silence is to show your respect...I don't respect people like George Floyd. Ridiculous idea.

No, not happening here !
as i said on the other thread ill have this banging out.
https://youtu.be/ZCOSPtyZAPA
It's nationwide across nearly all councils, TTT, irrespective of political allegiance. e.g. in my area : https://www.ipswichstar.co.uk/news/ipswich-borough-council-lights-for-george-floyd-1-6687611
Someone's just posted that link on another thread. Potty people!
Question Author
that's 2 chico, hardly nationwide.
No way Jose

My silence is saved each year for those to whom that memorial was dedicated. The one that George Floyd's fan club damaged and burnt our National flag thereon.
How many do you want then, TTT?

yes I too save my silence for those who created the state that these cretins enjoy without any thought for how it was paid for in the blood of those they now dishonour. They'd rather desecrate our symbols to pander to some lowlife piece of excrement, utter lowlife scum. Come on lefties tell me how I'm wrong.
Question Author
ok so they are purple are they doing a minutes silence?Absolutely mental. All this excrement will come back to haunt them.
You aren't wrong, no one has to join in with anything they don't wish to - many millions won't ,they'll simply go about their business without making a hue and cry about it.
This morning s virtue signalling at its worst.

I’m getting sick of this assumption that the killing was racially motivated.

The manner in which the man died was awful, but the only person who knows whether it was racially motivated is the copper who killed him.
You seem to have got more and more aggressive about Floyd as the days go by.

What you seem to miss is that it simply doesn't matter. There is nothing he did that justified his death. The criminal act of killing someone is far more serious than the criminal act of using a counterfeit note/cheque. I know which one I would rather take more seriously.

Arghhh, bloody predicative texting drives me bananas.

My first paragraph was meant to say “This is virtue signalling at its worse.”

I did not type the word ‘morning’.
Maybe once this happens things will start to calm down.

what about pointing a gun a pregnant womans stomach.?
You surely aren't saying that Officer Chauvin saved that up and killed George because of it?

//Maybe once this happens things will start to calm down. //

I hope you are correct but we haven't seen our usual help yourself to all you can carry shopping spree. Lets hope it remains that way.
Shhhh, webbo. Don't spoil the hysteria.
I'm not going to sit here and defend Floyd as some kind of shining example of humanity. That isn't the point either. When Chauvin restrained Floyd in the act of arresting him, and Floyd ended up dead, Chauvin became a criminal too.

Jim: "You seem to have got more and more aggressive about Floyd as the days go by." - i'm getting more aggressive about the lefty outpourings than have followed it mainly - why do they think so much of a lowlife piece of slime career criminal? Shoving guns in the guts of pregnant women whilst robbing them, just one thing on the impressive criminal CV. Why do lefties love criminals so much?
