Its not about his criminality. Its about the manner in which he died and who was responsible for it - someone trusted to uphold the law. All this together with footage of his death (tantamount to a snuff movie) probably does need to be acknowledged somehow.

It's much less about the lifestyle of George Floyd, rather the manner of his death which has raised yet again an uncomfortable truth that in these times of fear and uncertainty has reached far and wide.
I don't support any violence or destruction in this cause, but I also won't take away anyone's right to a moment of silence either.

///Do they stand in silence when a British police officer is killed on duty? ///
Fire officers were despatched with appliances to extinguish a large conflagration started by a large mob of black youths in their own housing estate of Broadwater Farm . Whilst fighting the fire the fire officers came under attack with missiles thrown by the very people who started it and seemed happy to see their flats burn to the ground. Their mindless thuggery has not improved in 40 years.
A Police Sergeant and several PCs were despatched to attempt to protect the fire officers. The officers wore ordinary police helmets and did not carry protective riot shields. The mob gathered and enveloped the Police Officers and firemen . PC Keith Blakelock was systemmatickly hacked limb from limb by machetes and obviously died of his injuries. Several bravery awards were awarded to the sergeant and PCs who tried to save him.
Bernard Grant a Black Labour Councellor along with Dianne Abbot. Labour happily agreed that it was a victory for the black community and "the police got a bloody good hiding".As usual nobody saw nuffin and ranks were closed to find the killers of which Winston Silcott was one. Times have not changed much in 40 years except their new adopted BLM label. Apparently Blue Lives did'nt matter within the Labour ranks.

I bet Sir Winston Churchill is looking down on the house now muttering,,' and this is the house I fought to retain democracy and promised blood, sweat and tears to achieve that aim.Let them do their worst to my statue in Parliament Square. It is no longer my honour to serve the country that it has become and the government that has capitulated and joined the same appeasers like chamberlain who would have this country taken over by pernicious gangsters and glorified in this house'.
