I will bend the knee for Blacks when they bend the knee for Whites -after all -that's what equality is. Black lives do matter -as do White lives and all the bonny colours in between. Anyway, the BLM movement has been taken over by anarchists and luvvies and I'm certainly not bending my knee in reverence to those sorts.

Well, I'm fully behind you, Martin but I fear that you'll be knocking your head against a brick wall when it comes to getting certain people on here to understand what racism is really about.

I'll provide you with one example of how racism works in this country though:
Back in my teaching days, we had a sixth-form pupil who appeared to be the perfect candidate for almost any university. He was very mature for his age, articulate, socially well-adjusted, gifted, industrious, with excellent grades at GCSE and an excellent grades forecast for his A-levels too. He applied to loads of universities and got not a single offer. He then changed his name by deed poll from his original (and clearly Asian) name of 'Fraz Taj' to the 'British-white' sounding name of 'David Christopher Parkinson' and sent off identical applications to all of the same universities. Every single one of them then made him an offer and he accepted a place at Oxford.

Some people might say "Yes, but that was over 30 years ago. We've moved on a lot since then". Regretaably though, it seems that nothing really changes:

If I answered that statement with... 'Black lives don’t matter.' the police will do their best to find me and take action.

YES!!!

Most definitely so!

Massive amounts of research have shown that prisons (and, in particular, short prison terms) don't work. They tend to increase the rates of re-offending. Other countries have been looking to find other ways to both punish and (importantly) rehabilitate offenders for many years and are starting to make progress. The UK is still several decades behind much of Europe in such respects though.

Buenchico there is NO WAY that would happen today, in fact he would probably get in over white people as authorities literally fall over themselves to do the right thing and avoid at all costs being seen as racist, despite the very fact that such actions are racist to whites nowadays !
